Content: (everyday: lecture and practice)

PCR and RT-PCR Principles and applications; DNA extraction, PCR reaction, gel electrophoresis; download the H5N1 genes from Genbank, design specific primers, set up RT–PCR to detect H5N1, SARS coronavirus; set up multiplex PCR and multiplex PCR to genotype HBV (hepatitis B virus)

Real time PCR detecting and quantifying HBV and HCV

PCR–ELISA detecting and genotyping HPV

Line Probe Hybridization and sequencing to genotype HCV

Registration fee: (30 persons only): 300 USD, including transportation from hotel to the class and meals (lunch and dinner), not including hotel accommodation.

GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS

Oral Presentation

Speakers are requested to adhere strictly to the times allocated.

You are advised to hand in your slides presentation at least 2 hours prior to your presentation.

The Speaker Preparation Room is available during office hour in the Conference venue.

Poster Presentation

Posters must be set up by 9:00 am on 27 October 2005.
The Poster Session is located at the Auditorium 2^nd Floor .
You are expected to remain with your poster to discuss your results with attendees
during coffee and lunch breaks on 27 and 28 October 2005.

All posters must be  removed by 9:00 am on 29 October 2005.
The organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters left on boards
after session are over.

All Participants are requested to wear their name badges in all social
activities and for entrance to the scientific sessions..

The official language of the conference will be English.
There will be no simultaneous translation.

People speak about 60 languages in Vietnam.
The official national language is Viet.
English and French are rather popular foreign languages.
